William B. Dunavant III, a University of Virginia graduate, is Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board Directors for Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. in Memphis, Tenn. He is responsible for the global innovation of Dunavant as a growing 3PL leader and builds on the family business’ history to deliver world-class, comprehensive, supply-chain solutions.
Dunavant currently serves on the boards of the Greater Memphis Chamber and Memphis University School, New Memphis Governor’s Board, and The National Advisory Board of the Jefferson Scholars Foundation at the University of Virginia.
Kelly Lomax
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. &
President, Dunavant Global Logistics
Kelly began his employment with Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. in 2015. He has a Masters of Accounting degree from The University of Mississippi. Prior to joining Dunavant, Kelly served as the Director of Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting Systems at ABB's Thomas and Betts division. He has also served as a Senior Manager for KPMG LLP, where he managed the external audits of multi-national public companies and private companies in various industries.
Kelly is currently on the Executive Board of Directors of Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. and serves on the Board of Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South. Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Tennessee and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
John Dobson Dunavant
Senior Vice President
John is currently Senior Vice President of Dunavant Enterprises and a member of the Executive Board of Directors. He formerly served as the head of domestic sales operations and Southeastern cotton buying.
John received a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Clemson University. He also attended the Memphis Leadership program, Memphis Cotton School and the National Cotton Council’s Leadership Program. He formerly served as president of the American Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA) and Atlantic Cotton Association.
Woodson Dunavant
Vice President/Director, Marketing and Business Development
Woodson is part of the fourth generation of the Dunavant family to work for the company. He worked across the globe specializing in cotton trading from 2001-2009 and spent four years in equipment leasing. Woodson currently serves as logistics sales and business developer for Dunavant, focusing on the international market.
He is a member of the executive board of directors for Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. and is on the board of directors for the Memphis Cotton Exchange and the Memphis Cotton Museum. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Auburn University.
Chrissy Geibel
Chief Operating Officer, Dunavant Logistics
Chrissy is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and administrative functions for Dunavant Global Logistics. Geibel has over 20 years of logistics and transportation experience, most recently serving as VP, Operations at Re-Trans/Kuehne Nagel, where she was responsible for Truckload Operations and LTL Operations. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration, Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from the University of Memphis.
David Herring
Senior Vice President of Tax
David began his employment with Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. in 1978 after gaining four years of experience with the tax department of a multi national agricultural commodities merchant. Prior to this, he had been a member of the tax staff of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co., a "Big 8" accounting firm that has since been merged into the current "Big 4."
